Hi, I'm Maria, a second year Chemical Engineering student at Cambridge! I'm based in NY and have been one-on-one tutoring for 5 years. I tutor both regular school subjects (Trigonometry, Precalculus, Physics) and test prep (including SAT/ACT and Advanced Placement exams). Having gone through these exams myself, I personally understand the challenges, and how the right explanation can really turn things around. I’ve worked with a wide range of students (ages 10-18) both online and in-person. I typically focus on tutoring by having students actively engage with relevant practice problems, and can incorporate more structured lesson plans if needed.

I am also happy to provide general guidance regarding the application process, which can be very convoluted, especially as an international student! Outside tutoring I enjoy reading, piano, cycling, and skiing! I also love live shows like concerts and classical music perfomances.
