University Applications and Interview Preparation
We were once in your position! Having successfully gone through the Oxbridge application and interview process ourselves, we are familiar with what is required to make a winning application. We have an insight into what tutors often look for in a personal statement and the do's and don't's of an interview. We are keen to help prospective students avoid many of the common pitfalls made when approaching applications. We offer students support throughout the entire application process, from drafting personal statements, to test preparation and interview practice.
English Language
Whether you are looking to gain a qualification in English language or to simply practice your speaking and grammar, our tutors are ready to provide personalised classes with your goals at the forefront. We are well versed in the Cambridge English Exams and IELTS International English Language Testing System, offering specialised classes in preparation for these from beginner level to proficiency.
English Literature
Our tutors are familiar with GCSE and A Level syllabus text and examination criteria. If it’s help with essay writing and textual analysis you’re looking for, we are here to share our passion for literature with you in an exciting, engaging way.
Spanish Language and Literature
We offer tutoring in both Spanish language and literature ranging from beginner levels (A1) to proficiency (C2). Whether it’s speaking practice, grammar, or specialised vocabulary, we are able to cater to your Spanish language needs. We also offer adapted tutorials for GCSE and A Level examinations where we focus on exam criteria and technique in order to maximise grades alongside a comprehensive command of the language.

Our tutors are experts in essay writing and keen to share the tricks of the trade with students who find writing essays daunting. We offer students support with a formula and structure which we then practice on topics that interest the individual student. We understand that writing an essay can initially be a bit of an uphill battle - we have a plethora of experience in writing techniques and simple essay structures that we will guide you through until they become second nature.
Proof Reading, CV and Covering Letter Review
Our tutors are experienced in providing assistance with drafting and proofreading applications for a range of graduate scheme applications, as well as drafting a standout CV or covering letter.

Oxbridge Tutors is a small collection of passionate tutors who have all graduated from Oxford and Cambridge University. We are keen to share our knowledge, experience and insider tips with students who are in need of extra support.
The Process
We try to make our tutorials as dynamic and engaging as possible by screen-sharing materials and notes, which we then annotate together. We strive to maximise each individual student’s potential and as such we cater our teaching techniques and styles to each student’s needs.
Our tutors are flexible and personable and first and foremost, want to share the passion they have for their subjects with their students in order to make their learning journey more enjoyable.
