Experience

I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor with over five years of experience teaching History, English, French, and Geography to with students aged 10 through to adult learners. My teaching style is highly communicative and student-led—I believe the best learning happens when tutor and student work together to find an approach that genuinely works for them. I design personalised lessons that not only build confidence and subject knowledge but also deliver real results, whether that’s improving exam performance or preparing for Oxbridge admissions. With a strong focus on developing critical thinking and clear written expression, I aim to make every session engaging, effective, and empowering.

About

I’m a writer and music journalist currently based in Paris, where I spend my free time between writing, reading, painting, and playing music. I discovered my love of teaching—and learning—in an unconventional way: by teaching myself through my GCSEs and A-Levels after attending a school that offered little real support. That experience not only taught me how to learn independently and creatively, but also led to the unexpected outcome of getting into Cambridge to study History. Since then, I’ve developed a passion for helping others find their own path through education, especially those who feel unsure of their potential. I bring the same curiosity, creativity, and empathy I use in my writing to my teaching, and I love working with students to build confidence, spark interest, and find methods that genuinely work for them.
